Thought they were mislabeled. A full size too small. Gosh dang they are cute and comfy though. If only my toes were not so smooshed
I bought these to have something nicer to wear with jeans for wet days in Maine - so slushy winter and rainy spring. They are very comfortable and very warm. The leather wears very nice (no wrinkles) and no issues with water ingress. I wear a size 9.5 but bought a 10 - I have room if I want to wear a thicker sock with no prblem.
Love love love these boots! True to size and so comfortable. Easy to get on and off. Tempted to buy an extra pair.
Got it for a Christmas gift for my mom. She loves them! She said they are super comfortable and she wears them.all.the time
This boot is quite comfortable, much more stable in construction than the solid black leather boots that initially introduced me to this brand. I love the lift and slight heel. It is not nearly as noticeable in real life as in the photo. The opening edges tend to rub against my shin with longer walks, so wearing with socks or longer pants/ leggings is best.
The finish used on the leather is pretty shocking to me that it made it through design and was chosen for mass production. I sent back one pair due to irregular splotches, dots and glue showing the leathers base color which is much brighter than the finish rubbed over the boot to create the darker chestnut brown. The pair I received after was nice enough, but as soon as worn for a few moments scuffs show and cut through the overcoat to the brighter leather color. I dont mind it as much, as its a natural process of wear with any boot, but it took less than 30 minutes outside to have several clear scratches and scuffs. To clarify, Im not living in wooded area or anything- Im talking a walk down a sidewalk and around a yard.
Overall a decent boot if you dont mind the finish wear. I would not pay full price and the exchange process had me wishing Id ordered from another company like REI, where I initially discovered the brand.
