Won't you more than a year..

Going on 11 months now and the rubber seems to be splitting and tearing from seams of the heel-pull and other joints. I wear them for work (winery) and have taken good care with them, but the rubber just doesn't hold up with continued slip on/off. I do love the fit + convenience of them but they're probably not worth it if they're not even going to last a year :(

Everything I was hoping for

Same grip and sturdiness of the tall legacy boots (which I have used at my farm for 3 years and look like new) but shorter, much more comfortable in warm days. Very easy to slip on and off. I find the ankle support sufficient.

Also kudos to Xtratuf: I tried two models that didn't quite fit my needs, and they refunded me, including free shipping both ways, no questions asked. I am very pleased with the whole experience!

ankle breaker

Horribly designed. Zero ankle support. The weight of the sole combined with the stretchiness of the elastic panel creates a very dangerous boot. Wore them for a day and rolled my ankle several times. Returned them for a pair of Muckster boots. I've worn the 15" Xtratufs for 20 years and would wear nothing else but the Legacy Deck Boots are poorly designed and dangerous.

Brewer Boots

Great boots for working in the brewery. Comfortable for long days on my feet.

Still Pretty Good

Comfortable and effective for a full-range of farm work - Barn, Vegetable Fields, Woods, Sugar House. I just wish they lasted more than a year and a half. Top binding starts to come off first, then splits down the side and also prone to cracking and splitting along top edge of the sole binding near the heel. It's frustrating to have the main part of the boot functional, but for a couple small failures in areas where I wouldn't expect a boot to fail.

ALASKA PROVEN.
BUILT FOR ALL.
